Bound is a sculptural basket that symbolizes the diverse, intertwined cultures, histories, and communities that have shaped Harlem. Inspired by traditional African baskets, Bound honors the labor of women across the diaspora and the strength that comes from many strands woven together. Bound is an outdoor public art piece to be installed at Jackie Robinson Park in Harlem on August 4, 2025, uTthru Fall.
