Bound is a sculptural basket that symbolizes the diverse, intertwined cultures, histories, and communities that have shaped the Harlem community. Inspired by traditional African baskets, Bound honors the labor of women across the diaspora and the strength that comes from many strands woven together. The sculpture is intended to inspire a sense of pride and unity among community members. Bound  will be installed on August 4, 2025 in Harlem's Jackie Robinson Park.

Launching in Spring 2024, the Harlem Sculpture Gardens is a groundbreaking initiative transforming historical Morningside, St. Nicholas, and Jackie Robinson parks into a vibrant exhibition space. In collaboration with the West Harlem Art Fund and New York Artist Equity Association, bringing sculpture, dance, and sound art to the heart of Harlem, celebrating its rich cultural tapestry.
